Hi!

I’m Hélène Lescoat,

Practitioner and Founder of KROMA and The KROMA Integrative Recovery Processâ„¢

Ten years ago, I was feeling strong, active, and at the peak of my fitness, until an unexpected accident shifted everything I thought I knew about health, movement, and recovery. The routines I relied on disappeared, and with them, my sense of confidence, strength, and ease. Pain management gradually took center stage, motivation became inconsistent, and daily life began to feel heavier than it should.

At times, even simple tasks felt overwhelming. I began to understand how deeply physical pain can affect not only the body, but the mind and emotional landscape as well. Doubt quietly crept in.

A part of me wondered whether, after 40, it was simply no longer possible to feel strong and free in my body again. Another part knew that wasn’t true, but it was clear that the way I had trained and related to my body no longer fit. My body was asking for something different. Something deeper.

So I listened.

I deepened my understanding of movement and healing, along with the role of emotions and the nervous system. I began shaping a more intuitive, whole-person approach to recovery and wellbeing. The impact was profound, first for me, and then for those I work with.

This work is grounded in over two decades of experience supporting people through recovery, elite performance, and long-term vitality.

Many of us adapt to discomfort, believing it’s something we must live with. But your body is not broken — it’s communicating. With awareness, it becomes a guide. With the right support, recovery gains momentum. If you’ve lost strength, balance, or confidence in your body, I’m here to help you reconnect.

Working Within a Collaborative Care Framework

My work is grounded in careful listening, respect for each person’s capacity, and clear professional boundaries. If at any point I sense that additional or different support is needed beyond my scope of practice, I work in collaboration with a trusted network of healthcare and mental health professionals. When appropriate, I may suggest a referral or parallel support to ensure that each person receives the care best suited to their situation. This approach allows the work to remain both supportive and responsible, while honoring the complexity of each individual’s experience.

This work is intended to complement medical or psychological care when appropriate.
